Althromb Syrup is an oral syrup from Alembic that contains papaya leaf extract. Papaya leaf extract is a plant extract.

It is used for platelet support during tick fever and dengue-like illness. Ask your vet whether it suits your animal, especially if your animal has a health condition or takes other medicines.

How It Works

• Papaya leaf extract. It is thought to support platelet production in the bone marrow.

How to Use

• Dose. Follow the dose on the pack or the amount your vet advises for your animal's weight.
• Measuring. Shake well. Measure with the cup or a dosing syringe, not a kitchen spoon, and give slowly into the side of the mouth.
• Storage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, unless the pack gives other storage directions. Keep out of reach of children.

Safety and Precautions

• It does not treat the cause of low platelets. Your pet still needs vet treatment.
• Follow the milk and meat withdrawal period printed on the pack before milk or meat from treated animals is used for food.
• Tell your vet about any other medicines your animal takes, and if your animal is pregnant, nursing or has liver or kidney problems.
