About Pilorute Cream
Bladder and kidney problems show up as straining, frequent urination, blood in the urine or drinking more.
Pilorute Cream is a human cream from Mankind that contains lignocaine (lidocaine). Lignocaine is a local anaesthetic.
It is made for people. Vets sometimes prescribe it for pets, for example for numbing before minor procedures, painful skin and mouth problems, and some heart rhythm problems. Give it to your pet only if your vet has prescribed it.

| Lignocaine (lidocaine) | Numbs the area where it is applied or injected. |
Features and Benefits
- Cream. Spreads easily on sore skin.
- Vet-guided. Your vet sets the dose and length of treatment for your pet.
How It Works
- Lignocaine (lidocaine). It blocks sodium channels in nerves, so pain signals cannot pass.
How to Use
- Dose. Give Pilorute Cream exactly as your vet prescribes. The dose depends on your pet's weight, age and condition.
- Applying. Clean and dry the area, then rub a thin layer gently into the affected skin.
- Stop licking. Stop your pet licking the area until it dries. Your vet may suggest a cone.
- Storage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, unless the pack gives other storage directions. Keep out of reach of children.
Safety and Precautions
- Use only the amount your vet advises. Too much can affect the heart and nervous system.
- For external use only. Keep it away from the eyes and mouth unless your vet says otherwise.
