Whoof Whoof Aldo Harness, Black, Small

About Whoof Whoof Aldo Harness

A harness spreads the pull of the lead across the chest instead of the throat, which is kinder for dogs that pull and safer for small breeds with delicate necks. Whoof Whoof Aldo Harness is a dog walking harness. This page is black, size small.

Measure your dog's chest at its widest point before you choose, and adjust the straps so two fingers fit underneath.

Harnesses also help with dogs that are learning to walk on a lead, as they give you better control without choking. Pair it with short, positive training walks and reward your dog for walking beside you.

A well-fitted harness should not rub under the front legs or slide sideways. Check the fit again as your dog grows or changes weight, and replace the harness if the stitching or buckles wear.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I measure my dog for a harness?

Measure around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs, and choose the size that matches. If between sizes, pick the larger and adjust.

Is a harness better than a collar?

For dogs that pull, small breeds and dogs with breathing or neck problems, a harness is usually kinder because it keeps pressure off the throat.

How tight should a harness be?

Snug enough that your dog cannot slip out, with room for two fingers under each strap.
