Chicken and potato rather than chicken and grain. Potato replaces wheat as the carbohydrate, which is what makes this line suitable for cats that react badly to grain-based kibble. Switching Your Cat to Arden Grange
Change over seven to ten days rather than overnight. Start at one quarter new food to three quarters old, move to half and half around day four, then three quarters new by day seven. Cats are far more resistant to sudden food changes than dogs, and an abrupt switch usually ends with a cat refusing the new food entirely.
Give it eight weeks before judging the results. Coat condition and stool quality follow the hair growth and gut cycle, and neither hurries.
