About Product

Morvel Advel-A Vitamin A Injection a highly concentrated, veterinary-grade intramuscular Vitamin A formulation delivering 6,00,000 IU per 2ml ampoule, engineered to rapidly correct critical Vitamin A deficiencies in both large and small animals. Vitamin A deficiency is one of the most consequential yet underdiagnosed nutritional disorders in veterinary practice, silently driving infertility, compromised immune response, recurrent respiratory and gastrointestinal tract infections, and poor reproductive outcomes across livestock and companion animal populations. Advel-A provides a fast-acting, depot-level correction that oral supplementation cannot achieve in acute or clinically significant deficiency states making it the preferred choice of veterinarians managing large animals, dairy herds, and small animal cases requiring urgent nutritional intervention. Animeal is proud to make Morvel Advel-A Vitamin A Injection available to veterinary professionals and informed pet parents across India, backed by over four decades of Morvel Laboratories' pharmaceutical manufacturing excellence.

Composition:

  • Highly Concentrated Vitamin A 6,00,000 IU: Retinol in its injectable form, providing an immediate and therapeutically significant systemic dose of preformed Vitamin A. As a fat-soluble vitamin, injected Vitamin A is rapidly absorbed into the lymphatic system and stored in hepatic stellate cells, creating a sustained-release depot that supports physiological functions over an extended period following administration. Vitamin A is indispensable for a broad range of biological processes: it regulates gene transcription via nuclear retinoic acid receptors (RAR/RXR), governs epithelial cell differentiation and integrity across the respiratory, gastrointestinal, urinary, and reproductive tracts, supports rhodopsin synthesis for scotopic (low-light) vision in the retina, modulates innate and adaptive immune responses, and is critically required for spermatogenesis, oestrus cycling, embryo implantation, and placental development in breeding animals. A single deficiency event can cascade across all these systems simultaneously making high-dose injectable correction both clinically rational and often urgent.

Features and Benefits

Ultra-High Potency Single-Ampoule Dose: At 6,00...

Ultra-High Potency Single-Ampoule Dose: At 6,00,000 IU per 2ml, Advel-A delivers a clinically meaningful therapeutic dose in a single, compact ampoule eliminating the impracticality of multi-vial high-dose oral correction in large animals.

Rapid Systemic Bioavailability: Intramuscular administration bypasses the gastrointestinal absorption limitations inherent to oral Vitamin A particularly relevant in animals with compromised gut function, hepatic disease, or malabsorption syndromes where oral supplementation fails to achieve therapeutic plasma levels.

Broad Species Applicability: Indicated for both large animals (cattle, buffaloes, horses, and other livestock) and small animals (dogs, cats), with species-appropriate dosing protocols for each.

Reproductive Performance Restoration: Specifically indicated for infertility management targeting the nutritional root cause of reproductive failure rather than masking symptoms with hormonal interventions alone.

Immune System Reinforcement: Vitamin A's role in lymphocyte proliferation, natural killer cell activity, and secretory antibody production makes Advel-A a valuable adjunct in the supportive management of animals recovering from infectious disease.

Multi-System Mucosal Support: A single intervention addresses epithelial vulnerability across the respiratory, gastrointestinal, urinary, and reproductive systems simultaneously reflecting the systemic nature of Vitamin A's biological role.

GMP-Manufactured Quality Assurance: Produced in Morvel Laboratories' ISO 9001:2008-certified, GMP-licensed manufacturing facility with in-house quality control laboratory validation at every production stage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which animals is Morvel Advel-A Vitamin A Injection suitable for?

Advel-A is indicated for both large animals including cattle, buffaloes, and horses and small animals such as dogs and cats. Dosage protocols differ significantly between large and small animals, so always confirm the appropriate dosing schedule with your veterinarian before administration.

How frequently should Advel-A be administered?

Frequency depends on the indication and species. For large animal infertility management, 2 ampoules on alternate days for 2 weeks is the standard protocol. For supportive treatment of respiratory, gastrointestinal, or urinary tract infections in large animals, 3 to 6 ampoules per week is indicated. For small animals, 2 to 3 ampoules per week is the general guideline. All schedules must be confirmed by a veterinarian.

Can Advel-A be used as a preventative supplement in healthy animals?

Advel-A is a high-potency injectable pharmaceutical formulation, not a routine dietary supplement. Because Vitamin A is fat-soluble and accumulates in the liver, prophylactic use without confirmed deficiency or veterinary direction carries a risk of hypervitaminosis A. Preventative Vitamin A supplementation in healthy animals is best managed through appropriate dietary and oral supplement protocols under veterinary guidance.

Are there any side effects or contraindications I should be aware of?

When administered at recommended doses under veterinary supervision, Advel-A is well-tolerated. However, as with all high-potency fat-soluble vitamin injectables, overdose or prolonged excessive administration can cause hypervitaminosis A characterised by bone abnormalities, hepatotoxicity, and neurological signs. Animals with pre-existing hepatic disease should be assessed carefully before use. Always follow the prescribed dosage schedule and report any unusual clinical signs to your veterinarian promptly.

How can I purchase Morvel Advel-A Vitamin A Injection through Animeal?
