About Product
AZIQINE 50GM Ointment stands as a pinnacle of veterinary medicine in the wound care management of various animals including pets like dogs, cats, and farm animals like cows and goats. Developed by AZISTA, this ointment uses nanocrystalline silver to offer a robust solution for animal health. Animeal is committed to delivering high-quality products that are safe and effective, ensuring that your animals receive the best care possible.
Ingredients:
- Nanocrystalline Silver (20.0 grams per 50gm): Acts as a potent antimicrobial agent that inhibits the growth of microorganisms within the wound dressing, ensuring a rapid and effective healing process. Animeal ensures this key ingredient's consistency and purity to maintain product quality and efficacy.
Features and Benefits
Broad-Spectrum Microbial Control Without Antibi...
Broad-Spectrum Microbial Control Without Antibiotic Resistance Risk:
Aziqine's nanocrystalline silver technology targets the complete range of common wound pathogens including bacteria, fungi, yeasts, and antibiotic-resistant organisms such as MRSA and VRE through simultaneous multi-mechanism action that microorganisms cannot readily develop resistance against. This makes Aziqine an especially valuable wound care tool in an era of increasing antimicrobial resistance, reducing dependence on topical antibiotic preparations for minor wound management in your canine or feline companion.
Film-Forming Technology Creates a Smart Wound Barrier:
Upon application, Aziqine dries to form a thin, flexible, breathable, and waterproof film that physically seals the wound surface against environmental contamination by dust, dirt, moisture, and secondary microbial exposure. Unlike bulky traditional dressings, this transparent film allows continuous visual monitoring of the wound's healing progress without the need for frequent disruptive dressing changes, reducing stress for your pet and reducing the risk of re-injury to the wound bed during removal.
Supports and Accelerates Natural Wound Healing:
By simultaneously controlling infection and maintaining the optimal moist microenvironment at the wound surface, Aziqine restores the biological conditions under which tissue repair occurs most efficiently. The anti-inflammatory properties of nanocrystalline silver further reduce excessive MMP activity that would otherwise degrade healing tissue, allowing fibroblast proliferation, angiogenesis, and re-epithelialisation to proceed at their natural pace or faster.
Safe and Non-Toxic for All Species and Sizes:
Aziqine is formulated at a silver concentration specifically selected for antimicrobial efficacy with minimal cytotoxic risk to mammalian cells, making it safe and gentle for use on dogs, cats, horses, birds, and exotic animals of all sizes and life stages. The non-toxic, water-based formulation poses no systemic risk from topical application and does not contain steroids, alcohol, or harsh chemical antiseptics that can irritate or damage already-compromised wound tissue.
Versatile Application Across Wound Types:
Whether your pet has sustained a minor cut, a scrape from outdoor activity, a surgical incision, a hotspot, a chronic ulcer, or a skin abrasion, Aziqine is designed to function effectively as both a primary wound covering and as an adjunct under traditional bandaging. Its gel-to-film transition makes it equally suited for wounds in locations where conventional dressings are difficult to secure, including facial areas, paw pads, limb joints, and areas frequently disturbed by animal movement.
Soothes Discomfort and Reduces Wound Irritation:
The hydrogel base of Aziqine alleviates the pain and itching associated with open wounds by cooling and hydrating the wound surface, reducing the urge to lick, scratch, or bite at the affected area. This supportive comfort action complements the antimicrobial component, helping your companion remain calm and cooperative during the wound healing process.
