About Bio Kitten Milk Replacer
Bio Kitten Milk Replacer from Bio PetActive is a formula milk powder for kittens that cannot nurse from their mother. It supplies protein, oils, vitamins and minerals, with added taurine, and has reduced lactose to be gentler on a kitten's stomach.
Kittens may need milk replacer when they are orphaned, rejected, in a large litter or when the mother has too little milk. Cow's milk is not a substitute, as it can cause diarrhoea in kittens.
Young kittens need frequent feeds day and night, warmth and help to pass urine and stools. A vet check early on helps catch problems such as dehydration or low body temperature.

Features and Benefits
- Made for kittens. Formulated as a substitute for the mother cat's milk.
- Added taurine. Cats must get taurine from food. It supports eyes and heart.
- Reduced lactose. Easier to digest than ordinary milk.
- Powder format. Mix fresh for each feed, so nothing goes to waste.
How It Works
- Balanced nutrition. Supplies the protein, fat, vitamins and minerals a growing kitten needs in a form close to the mother's milk.
How to Use
- Feeding schedule. 0 to 2 weeks: 1 teaspoon every 2 hours, day and night. 2 to 3 weeks: 1.5 to 2 teaspoons every 2 hours from 6am to midnight. 3 to 4 weeks: 3 teaspoons every 3 hours. From 4 weeks: increase as needed with 4 to 6 meals a day while weaning onto solid food.
- Mixing. Prepare fresh for each feed using the powder-to-water ratio on the pack, and test the temperature on your wrist. It should feel just warm.
- How to feed. Feed with the kitten lying on its belly and the bottle at about 45 degrees. Never feed a kitten on its back. Burp it gently afterwards.
- Toileting. Before or after each feed, gently rub the lower belly and bottom with a warm, damp cloth to help the kitten pee and poo.
- Track weight. Weigh the kitten daily. Steady weight gain is the best sign that feeding is going well.
- Storage. Close the pack tightly after use and keep it in a cool, dry place. Throw away any mixed milk left after a feed.
Safety and Precautions
- Do not feed cow's milk to kittens. It can cause diarrhoea.
- A kitten that is cold, weak, not gaining weight or has diarrhoea needs a vet quickly.
- Do not force milk into a kitten's mouth, as it can be breathed into the lungs.
