About Butox Vet
Ticks and fleas do more than itch. Ticks spread blood parasites, and heavy flea burdens cause skin disease and anaemia.
Butox Vet is a liquid concentrate from MSD Animal Health that contains deltamethrin. Deltamethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide.

- Stop licking. Stop your pet licking the area until it dries. Your vet may suggest a cone.
- Strength. Butox Vet is a deltamethrin concentrate. Dilute it with clean water exactly as the pack directs before spraying or dipping.
- Storage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, unless the pack gives other storage directions. Keep out of reach of children.
Safety and Precautions
- Wear gloves and do not eat, drink or smoke while using it. Wash hands and skin after use.
- Highly toxic to fish. Do not let it reach ponds, rivers or drains.
- Never use it on cats.
- Follow the milk and meat withdrawal period printed on the pack before milk or meat from treated animals is used for food.
- For external use only. Keep it away from the eyes and mouth unless your vet says otherwise.
