How to Use

Butrum 2mg Injection must only be administered by or under the direct supervision of a licensed veterinarian. It is intended for intravenous (IV) or intramuscular (IM) administration only. Subcutaneous (SC) administration is not recommended as absorption is erratic and clinical effect is unpredictable.

Contraindications:

• Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to buprenorphine or any opioid compound.
• Avoid use in animals with severe respiratory compromise, head trauma, or raised intracranial pressure.
• Do not use in animals with Addison's disease (hypoadrenocorticism), severe kidney disease, or significant liver impairment without specialist veterinary monitoring.

Storage Advice

Store Butrum 2mg Injection ampoules at room temperature between 20°C and 25°C. Protect from direct light, excessive heat above 40°C, and freezing. Keep in original packaging until point of use.
