How It Works

• Pyrantel embonate. It paralyses the worms so they are passed out in the stool.
• Praziquantel. It damages the tapeworm's outer skin and causes its muscles to cramp, so the worm detaches and is digested.

How to Use

• Dose. The maker's dose is 1 tablet per 4kg body weight, which gives 57.5 mg/kg pyrantel pamoate and 5 mg/kg praziquantel.
• Giving a tablet. Place it at the back of the tongue, close the mouth gently and stroke the throat until your pet swallows. You can also hide it in a small piece of food if your vet says this is fine.
• Storage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, unless the pack gives other storage directions. Keep out of reach of children.
