Worms are common in dogs of every age. They rob nutrients, upset the gut and some can pass to people.
Drontal Plus Tasty from Elanco is a flavoured, bone-shaped dewormer for dogs. Each tablet combines praziquantel, pyrantel embonate and febantel, so one dose treats all the main gut worms.
It is used for roundworms, hookworms, whipworms and tapeworms. Ask your vet whether it suits your dog, especially if your dog has a health condition or takes other medicines.
Vets usually advise deworming adult dogs every 3 months, and puppies more often. Ask your vet for the right schedule.
