About Lysine Cat Paste
Lysine Cat Paste is an immunity supplement from Opuspet for cats, in oral paste form. It contains L-lysine. L-lysine is an amino acid often used for cats with recurring cat flu signs.
It is used for supporting cats with feline herpes virus (cat flu) signs such as sneezing and watery eyes. Give it alongside a complete and balanced diet, and speak to your vet first if your cat is unwell or on other medicines.

How to Use
- Daily amount. Give the amount printed on the pack for your cat's weight, or the amount your vet advises. More is not better with vitamins and minerals.
- Giving paste. Set the syringe to the dose for the animal's weight, place the nozzle in the gap between the teeth and push the paste onto the back of the tongue.
- With food. Most pets take supplements best with a meal. You can mix liquids and powders into food or give them directly.
Safety and Precautions
- Supplements support a complete and balanced diet. They do not replace it, or any treatment your vet prescribes.
- Supportive only. Eye ulcers or breathing trouble need a vet.
- Stop and speak to your vet if your cat has vomiting, diarrhoea or seems unwell after starting it.
