Savavet Nulura for Very Small Dogs is a standout product in our DEWORMERS FOR DOGS category. Crafted with utmost pharmaceutical precision by Savavet Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. one of India's most trusted and respected veterinary pharmaceutical manufacturers Nulura is built around a powerful and clinically validated triple-active anthelmintic combination: Praziquantel, Pyrantel Pamoate, and Febantel. Each of these three active ingredients targets intestinal parasites through a completely distinct and independent mechanism of action Praziquantel eliminating tapeworms through rapid tegumental disruption, Pyrantel Pamoate causing spastic paralysis of roundworms and hookworms through nicotinic acetylcholine receptor activation, and Febantel disrupting the energy metabolism of whipworms and other nematodes through its unique bisbenzimidazole mechanism. The critical clinical advantage of this triple-combination approach is that no single worm species can simultaneously develop resistance to three completely different mechanisms of action making Nulura a far more reliably effective and resistance-resistant deworming solution than single-active anthelmintics. The weight-specific "Very Small Dogs" formulation ensures each tablet delivers precisely the therapeutic dose calculated for dogs at the lower end of the weight spectrum eliminating the risk of underdosing that compromises efficacy when larger-dog formulations are split, and the risk of overdosing that creates safety concerns when incorrect-size tablets are administered to tiny breeds. With Savavet Nulura, you can trust that you are offering your beloved very small furry companion the most complete, most precise, and most clinically reliable single-dose deworming protection available.
Composition:
- Praziquantel (Cestocidal Active): the world's most widely used and clinically validated cestocidal anthelmintic, Praziquantel is rapidly absorbed orally, metabolised in the liver, and excreted via the bile into the intestinal lumen where it exerts its potent cestocidal activity against all major tapeworm species. Upon exposure to Praziquantel, tapeworm tegument (the outer protective layer) undergoes rapid, irreversible disruption causing calcium ion influx, spastic paralysis, and loss of the tegumental integrity that protects the tapeworm from the host's digestive enzymes. This exposes the now-unprotected tapeworm body to enzymatic digestion within the intestinal lumen meaning that in most cases, whole tapeworms are never observed in the faeces after Praziquantel treatment, as they are fully digested before passing. Praziquantel is effective against Dipylidium caninum (the flea tapeworm the most common tapeworm in Indian pet dogs), Taenia pisiformis, Echinococcus granulosus, and Echinococcus multilocularis
- Pyrantel Pamoate (Nematocidal Active Roundworms & Hookworms): a depolarising neuromuscular blocking agent that acts as an agonist at nicotinic acetylcholine receptors on the neuromuscular junction of susceptible nematode parasites causing irreversible spastic paralysis of the parasite's body musculature. The paralysed nematode loses its ability to maintain its position in the intestinal lumen against the normal peristaltic flow of intestinal contents, and is rapidly swept out of the gastrointestinal tract by normal intestinal motility and expelled in the faeces. Pyrantel Pamoate is the active responsible for eliminating Toxocara canis (roundworm the most common intestinal parasite in Indian puppies), Toxascaris leonina, Ancylostoma caninum (hookworm), and Uncinaria stenocephala
- Febantel (Nematocidal Active Whipworms & Broad Nematode Spectrum): a pro-benzimidazole compound that is rapidly absorbed after oral administration and metabolised in the animal to its pharmacologically active benzimidazole metabolites which exert their anthelmintic activity by inhibiting the parasite's polymerisation of tubulin into microtubules, disrupting cellular function and energy metabolism, and blocking glucose uptake by the nematode. This disruption of fundamental cellular energy production leads to progressive nematode death and expulsion. Febantel's benzimidazole spectrum is particularly important for providing effective coverage against Trichuris vulpis (whipworm) a notoriously difficult-to-treat intestinal parasite that is inadequately covered by Pyrantel Pamoate alone
- Palatable Chewable Tablet Excipients: a carefully selected blend of flavouring agents, binders, and sweeteners that create the characteristic palatable, treat-like chewable tablet format that most dogs accept voluntarily without the need for pill hiding or forced administration making the deworming process entirely stress-free for both pet and owner
