Petgeek Foodie Orb Toy for Dogs and Cats

Targets Boredom and Separation Anxiety at the Behavioural Root:
The Foodie Orb's autonomous, unpredictable movement continuously engages your dog's prey-drive and curiosity, providing a self-sustaining source of stimulation that does not require the pet parent to be present. For dogs that exhibit destructive chewing, excessive vocalisation, or anxious pacing during alone time, this active engagement targets the underlying state of under-stimulation that drives these behaviours.

Supports Healthy Digestion by Slowing Food Intake:
The adjustable treat-dispensing windows function precisely as a mechanical slow feeder, regulating the pace at which your canine companion consumes kibble or treats. Rapid eating is a leading contributor to aerophagia (air swallowing), bloat, regurgitation, and gastric discomfort in dogs and the Foodie Orb directly counteracts this by ensuring that food is earned incrementally through movement and effort rather than consumed in a single rapid sitting.

Delivers Powerful Cognitive and IQ Training:
Each play session with the Foodie Orb requires your dog to observe, strategise, and adjust their behaviour to retrieve treats building working memory, problem-solving aptitude, and task persistence over time. This type of structured cognitive enrichment has been shown to support neural health, reduce age-related cognitive decline in dogs, and foster a calmer, more confident temperament in everyday life.

Encourages Sustained Physical Exercise Without Human Prompting:
The rolling, direction-changing ball compels your canine companion to move, chase, and reorient constantly throughout each play session converting what would otherwise be passive rest time into meaningful physical activity. This is particularly valuable for high-energy breeds, dogs in apartment environments, or pets whose exercise routine is limited by the pet parent's schedule.

Satisfies Natural Foraging and Hunting Instincts:
Domestic dogs retain deeply wired foraging instincts inherited from their ancestral hunting behaviour, and suppressing these instincts through a purely passive lifestyle contributes significantly to anxiety, restlessness, and destructive tendencies. The Foodie Orb's rolling-and-dispensing format replicates the chase-and-reward loop of natural foraging, giving your dog an outlet for instinct-driven behaviour in a safe, controlled way.

Ultra-Durable and Play-Tested for Safety:
Every component of the Foodie Orb is precision-locked to prevent disassembly during play, and the antibacterial ABS shell is constructed to withstand the impact and lateral pressure of enthusiastic medium-chewer engagement. Supertails has certified this product as play-tested for safety, giving you the confidence that it meets the standards required for daily, trusted use with your canine companion.

Energy-Efficient Smart Standby Mode:
The built-in standby function automatically pauses the motor after a period of inactivity, extending battery life across multiple play sessions and ensuring the toy remains at full operational capacity whenever your dog chooses to re-engage. This intelligent power management means the Foodie Orb is always ready to respond to your dog's next paw touch without manual resetting.

Effortless to Use and Clean:
All components of the Foodie Orb with the exception of the power core are dishwasher-safe, making post-play hygiene simple and thorough. The straightforward fill-and-start design means the toy is ready to use in seconds: load with kibble or small treats, activate the power, and the Foodie Orb takes care of the rest.

How to Use:

Before first use, install 2 x AAA batteries (not included) into the power core compartment following the polarity markings inside the battery housing. Open the adjustable treat-dispensing windows to your preferred difficulty setting wider for beginners, narrower for experienced or highly food-motivated dogs and fill the interior chamber with up to 380ml of your dog's regular dry kibble or small treats sized no larger than 0.3 inches in diameter. Do not use wet food, soft treats, or any food with high moisture content, as this may damage the internal components and compromise hygiene. Close the ball securely by rotating the lid until all components are locked, then press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to activate. Place the Foodie Orb on a clear, hard-floor surface and allow your dog to discover and interact with it at their own pace the ball will begin rolling autonomously and will respond to obstacle contact with directional changes. The ball will enter standby mode after 60 seconds of inactivity and can be reactivated by your dog's paw touch. After each play session, open the washable components and clean them in the dishwasher or with warm water and mild soap, then dry thoroughly before reassembly. Always supervise your dog during the first few sessions to ensure they are interacting safely. This product is recommended for medium chewers only do not provide to dogs with aggressive chewing tendencies or those that exhibit destructive biting behaviour toward hard objects.

Storage Advice:

Store the PetGeek Foodie Orb in a cool, dry place below 25 degrees Celsius, away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity when not in use. Remove batteries from the power core if the toy will not be used for an extended period to prevent battery corrosion and internal damage. Ensure the toy is fully cleaned and completely dry before storage to prevent mould growth or bacterial buildup within the treat chamber. Do not leave the Foodie Orb outdoors or in environments with extreme heat, as this may affect the structural integrity of the ABS shell and the precision-fit of the component locks. Inspect all parts for signs of wear, cracking, or component loosening before each use, and discontinue use immediately if any damage is observed.
