How to Use:

Raksha HS+BQ Vaccine must be administered by a registered veterinary practitioner or under direct veterinary supervision. Before drawing the vaccine, shake the vial thoroughly to ensure a uniform suspension of antigen particles. Allow the vaccine to reach room temperature before administration if stored under refrigeration, as cold injection may cause unnecessary discomfort. Clean and disinfect the injection site on the animal's neck or behind the shoulder with a suitable antiseptic before administration. Administer 3 ml of the vaccine by subcutaneous injection as a single dose. Primary vaccination is recommended from 6 months of age. Revaccinate annually, and where possible, schedule vaccination prior to the onset of seasonal risk periods such as the monsoon. In areas of high disease pressure or following periods of climatic stress, the attending veterinarian should advise on appropriate revaccination intervals. Do not administer to animals that are ill, severely debilitated, or undergoing concurrent febrile illness. Use a sterile needle and syringe for each animal to prevent transmission of disease between individuals. Do not mix with any other vaccine or biological product in the same syringe. Dispose of all used needles, syringes, and empty vials in accordance with applicable veterinary waste disposal regulations.

Storage Advice:

Store unopened Raksha HS+BQ Vaccine in a cool, dark, and dry place at a temperature between +2 degrees Celsius and +8 degrees Celsius at all times. Do not freeze, as freezing will irreversibly damage the aluminium hydroxide gel adjuvant and denature the inactivated antigens, rendering the vaccine ineffective. Protect from direct sunlight and heat exposure during storage and transport. Once opened, the multi-dose 90 ml polypropylene vial should be used within the same vaccination session and any remaining unused vaccine must be discarded safely in accordance with biohazard disposal guidelines. Do not use after the best-before date printed on the vial. Maintain a functional cold chain from the point of manufacture to the point of administration.
