Ultra-Sharp Triple-Faceted Bevelled Tip: The Mediglide's precision-ground, triple-bevel tip slices through skin and tissue with minimal resistance ensuring smooth, virtually painless penetration that reduces stress and discomfort for your pet during injections.
Thin-Wall Needle Technology: The thin-wall construction of the Mediglide needle allows for a higher flow rate without increasing the outer diameter, meaning faster and more comfortable fluid administration without the trauma of a larger gauge.
EO Sterilised & Individually Packed: Every single needle is sterilised using the internationally accepted Ethylene Oxide (EO) process and individually sealed in a sterile blister pack guaranteeing complete sterility right up to the point of use, eliminating any risk of cross-contamination or infection.
Colour-Coded Hub for Instant Identification: Each gauge size is assigned a distinct colour-coded hub, allowing veterinarians and pet parents to instantly identify and select the correct needle size without any guesswork saving critical time in clinical and emergency settings.
Universal Luer Compatibility: The standard Luer slip and Luer lock-compatible hub fits securely onto all major syringe brands preventing leaks, accidental disconnections, and medication wastage during administration.
Silicone-Coated Needle Shaft: The silicone coating on the needle shaft further reduces friction during insertion, contributing to a smoother, less traumatic injection experience for even the most sensitive or anxious pets.
Non-Toxic & Non-Pyrogenic: Manufactured from medical-grade, biocompatible materials that are completely free from toxic substances and pyrogens safe for use in all companion animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, and small mammals.
Wide Range of Gauge & Length Options: Available across multiple gauge and length combinations to suit every clinical application from fine 26G needles for subcutaneous insulin injections to large-bore 14G or 16G needles for rapid IV fluid administration and thick medication delivery.
Single-Use Design for Maximum Safety: Strictly intended for single use only eliminating the risk of blunting, contamination, or cross-infection that comes with reusable needles, and ensuring every injection is as safe and precise as the first.

How to Use:
Step 1 Select the correct gauge and length: Choose the appropriate needle gauge based on the medication being administered and your pet's size. Finer gauges (22G–26G) are ideal for subcutaneous and intradermal injections. Larger gauges (14G–20G) are used for intramuscular injections, IV fluid lines, or thick medication delivery.
Step 2 Inspect the packaging: Check that the individual blister pack is intact and the expiry date has not passed. Do not use if the packaging is damaged, torn, or compromised in any way.
Step 3 Attach to syringe: Remove the needle from its sterile packaging and attach it firmly to the syringe hub using a straight push-and-twist motion. Ensure a secure, leak-free connection.
Step 4 Administer the injection: Gently insert the needle at the appropriate angle for the intended injection route (subcutaneous, intramuscular, or intravenous). Always follow your veterinarian's specific instructions for injection site, depth, and technique.
Step 5 Dispose safely: After use, immediately recap the needle using a one-hand scoop technique and dispose of it in a designated sharps disposal container. Never recap with two hands. Never reuse.
Common Veterinary Applications:
- Subcutaneous (SC) vaccinations and fluid therapy
- Intramuscular (IM) antibiotic and medication injections
- Intravenous (IV) catheter insertion and fluid line setup
- Blood sample collection and diagnostic procedures
- Insulin administration in diabetic pets
Storage Advice:
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture, and extreme temperatures. Do not use needles beyond the expiry date printed on the box. Keep the box sealed and away from children and pets.
