Smarty Pet Pin Glove for Dogs and Cats, 2 pieces

Reduces Shedding and Keeps Your Home Cleaner:
The pin tips actively capture loose and shed hair before it falls onto furniture, floors, and clothing. Regular use of the Smarty Pet Pin Gloves as part of your pet's grooming routine targets the root cause of household hair accumulation, reducing the need for daily vacuuming and lint rolling.

Promotes Skin and Coat Health Through Massage:
Every stroke of the glove across your pet's coat stimulates the sebaceous glands beneath the skin, encouraging the natural distribution of the skin's oils along the hair shaft. This process restores a healthy, natural shine to the coat and supports skin barrier integrity, particularly beneficial for pets prone to dryness or dullness between grooming appointments.

Transforms Bath Time into a Calm, Enjoyable Experience:
The Smarty Pet Pin Gloves serve as an outstanding bath brush. Lathering shampoo directly onto the glove allows you to work product deep into the coat using a familiar, hand-like motion. This method is significantly less stressful for water-averse pets, as the tactile sensation closely mimics petting, making bath time a more positive experience for your furry companion.

Reaches Hard-to-Groom Zones with Precision:
The independent five-finger design allows grooming in areas that remain beyond the reach of standard brushes and mitts. Sensitive zones around the ears, face, jaw, and between the paws respond well to the controlled, finger-tip motion this glove provides, ensuring a thorough, full-body groom every time.

Suitable for All Coat Types and Multiple Species:
Whether your household includes a short-coated Beagle, a long-haired Persian, or a curly-coated Doodle, the Smarty Pet Pin Gloves adapt seamlessly. The flexible rubber pins engage effectively with all hair textures without becoming clogged, tangled, or ineffective after a single use.

Safe, Skin-Friendly Materials:
The gloves are constructed entirely from materials that are free from compounds known to cause dermal irritation. The soft rubber pins ensure there is no painful fur removal or abrasive contact with the underlying skin, making this product suitable even for puppies, kittens, and older pets with thinner, more delicate skin.

Strengthens the Bond Between Pet and Owner:
Grooming is one of the most important rituals of trust between a pet and their human. Because the Smarty Pet Pin Gloves feel like a natural extension of your hand, many pets who resist traditional grooming tools accept this form of grooming readily. Regular, positive grooming sessions build confidence and deepen the emotional bond your canine companion or feline friend has with you.

How to Use:

Slip the glove onto your dominant hand and secure the wrist strap for a firm, comfortable fit. For dry grooming and deshedding, simply stroke the glove across your pet's coat in the direction of hair growth, using gentle but confident pressure. Spend additional time in areas of heavier shedding such as the back, flanks, and base of the tail. Use your fingers to reach into contoured areas around the face, ears, and between the legs. Collected hair will adhere to the glove surface and can be peeled away at the end of the session. For use during bathing, apply a suitable pet shampoo directly to the glove, then work it into your pet's wet coat using circular and stroking motions, ensuring thorough coverage including the undercoat. Rinse the glove and your pet simultaneously. After each use, peel away any collected hair from the glove surface and machine wash with a gentle cycle before hanging to dry. Do not use high heat to dry the gloves, as this may affect the integrity of the rubber pins over time.

Storage Advice:

Store the Smarty Pet Pin Gloves in a cool, dry place below 25 degrees C, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep the gloves in a clean, dry area between uses to prevent the rubber pins from attracting dust or debris. Once washed, hang the gloves to air dry completely before storing. Do not fold or compress the gloves under heavy objects, as sustained pressure may deform the pin tips over time.
