TROTTER 1 PET CARRIER LIGHT GRAY ASH ROSE (S)

About Savic Trotter 1 Pet Carrier

Vet visits, moving house and train or car journeys are much less stressful when your pet travels in a secure, well-ventilated carrier. Savic Trotter 1 Pet Carrier is a hard plastic travel box with a coated metal mesh door, in light grey & ash rose.

The Trotter 1 measures 49 x 33 x 30 cm (about 19 x 13 x 12 inches) and is made for pets up to 5 kg. It suits cats, puppies and small dogs up to about 5 kg.

The Trotter range has ventilation slots along the sides, a carry handle on top and click-shut clips that hold the two halves together. The top half lifts off, which makes it easy to lift out a nervous cat at the vet and to clean the carrier afterwards.

Savic is a Belgian pet products company, and the Trotter is one of its best known carriers.

• Good ventilation. Slots on the sides keep air moving.
• Removable top. Lift the top off for easy access at the vet and easy cleaning.
• Carry handle. A handle on top for short carries.
• Trotter 1 size. 49 x 33 x 30 cm (about 19 x 13 x 12 inches). For pets up to 5 kg.

Which Trotter Size?

Measure your pet standing, from nose to the base of the tail and from the floor to the top of the head. Choose a carrier a little longer and taller than your pet.

How to Use

• Get your pet used to it. Leave the carrier open at home with a soft blanket and treats inside, so it becomes a safe den rather than a sign of the vet.
• Line it. Add an absorbent pad or towel in case of accidents on the journey.
• In the car. Place the carrier on the floor behind a front seat, or secure it with a seat belt so it cannot slide.
• Cleaning. Lift off the top, wash with mild soap and water, rinse and dry. Disinfect after a sick pet has travelled in it.
• Check the clips. Make sure all clips and the door are closed before you lift the carrier.

Safety and Precautions

• Right size. Your pet should be able to stand up, turn around and lie down comfortably inside.
• Heat. Never leave a pet in a carrier in a parked car. Cars heat up very fast.
• Air travel. Check the airline's carrier rules before booking a flight.
