Broad-Spectrum Bactericidal Action: Enrofloxacin acts via inhibition of DNA gyrase in bacteria to inhibit DNA and RNA synthesis, making it highly bactericidal with a broad spectrum of activity against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria as well as mycoplasmal organisms providing comprehensive coverage across multiple infection types in a single bolus.
Effective Against Respiratory Tract Infections: Uniflox is highly effective in treating bronchopneumonia and other serious respiratory infections in cattle, including those caused by Pasteurella multocida, Mannheimia haemolytica, and Mycoplasma species the most common pathogens responsible for bovine respiratory disease.
Treats Gastrointestinal Infections & Colisepticaemia: Enrofloxacin is effective against diseases of the alimentary tract of bacterial or mycoplasmal origin, including colibacillosis, coli-septicaemia, and salmonellosis making Uniflox an essential treatment for serious gut infections in cattle.
Manages Urogenital Infections: Uniflox effectively tackles urogenital infections including nephritis and cystitis in cattle, helping restore urinary tract health and prevent secondary complications from bacterial spread.
Treats Wound & Cutaneous Infections: The potent bactericidal formula penetrates deep into infected tissue to treat wounds and abscesses, preventing the spread of infection and accelerating the healing process.
Controls Secondary Bacterial Infections: Uniflox is particularly valuable in treating secondary bacterial infections that arise subsequent to viral conditions such as viral pneumonia, making it an essential supportive treatment during viral disease outbreaks in cattle herds.
High-Dose 2000mg Bolus for Large Animals: The high 2000mg dose per bolus is specifically calibrated for the body weight of cattle, ensuring therapeutic drug levels are achieved quickly and maintained effectively throughout the course of treatment.
Convenient Oral Bolus Format: The palatable, uncoated bolus format allows for straightforward oral administration to cattle reducing the stress and complications associated with injectable treatments while ensuring accurate dosing.
Complete Treatment Pack: Presented in a box of 10 strips × 4 boluses per strip (40 boluses total), providing a complete and ready-to-use antibiotic course for herd-level treatment management.
