About Hittix Shampoo
Hittix Shampoo from Areion Vet is a medicated shampoo made with propoxur. Propoxur is an insecticide powder that kills fleas and ticks.
It is used for fleas and ticks on the coat and treating bedding and resting areas. Speak to your vet first if your pet is unwell, very young, old or on other medicines.

How to Use
- Washing. Wet the coat with lukewarm water and work the shampoo into a lather down to the skin, starting at the neck and working back.
- Contact time. Leave the lather on for the time the pack or your vet advises, often 5 to 10 minutes for medicated products, then rinse very thoroughly.
- How often. Use as often as your vet advises. Medicated washes are often used two or three times a week at first, then less often.
Safety and Precautions
- For external use only. Avoid the eyes, nose and mouth.
- Do not use on very young, sick or nursing animals unless your vet advises.
- Wash your hands after use. Drooling, shaking or vomiting after use needs a vet straight away.
