About Keramed Vet Shampoo
Keramed Vet Shampoo from Corise is a medicated shampoo made with benzoyl peroxide. Benzoyl peroxide flushes out hair follicles and kills bacteria on the skin.
It is used for greasy, scaly skin, bacterial skin infections and blackheads (comedones) and chin acne in cats, as decided by a vet. Speak to your vet first if your pet is unwell, very young, old or on other medicines.

How to Use
- Washing. Wet the coat with lukewarm water and work the shampoo into a lather down to the skin, starting at the neck and working back.
- Contact time. Leave the lather on for the time the pack or your vet advises, often 5 to 10 minutes for medicated products, then rinse very thoroughly.
- How often. Use as often as your vet advises. Medicated washes are often used two or three times a week at first, then less often.
Safety and Precautions
- It can dry the skin and bleach fabrics. Rinse well and keep it off towels and bedding you care about.
- Keep out of the eyes.
- Stop your pet licking the treated area until it is dry or absorbed. A cone collar helps.
