- Dose. Give Zedox Syrup exactly as your vet prescribes. The dose depends on your pet's weight, age and condition.
- Measuring. Shake well before use. Measure with the cup, dropper or a dosing syringe, not a kitchen spoon, and give slowly into the side of the mouth.
- Missed dose. Give it as soon as you remember, unless the next dose is nearly due. Never give two doses together.
- Storage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, unless the pack gives other storage directions. Keep out of reach of children.
Safety and Precautions
- Finish the full course your vet prescribes, even if your pet seems better after a few days. Stopping early can let the infection come back.
- Tell your vet about any past reaction to antibiotics.
- Give with food or follow tablets with water. In cats, a dry tablet left in the food pipe can cause irritation.
- Avoid giving with milk, antacids, calcium or iron supplements at the same time, as they reduce absorption.
- Tell your vet about any other medicines or supplements your pet takes, and if your pet is pregnant, nursing or has liver or kidney problems.
