Zeal Pet Royal Leash with Brass Hook for Dogs, Large, 25mm

Built for Strength, Designed for Large Breeds: The thick rope core and reinforced stitching at both terminal ends make this leash capable of withstanding the pulling force of dogs well above 30 kg. Your canine companion can stride with confidence, and so can you, knowing the leash will not give way under pressure.

Rust-Proof Brass Hook for Long-Lasting Reliability: The solid brass snap hook resists corrosion across all weather conditions, from monsoon humidity to coastal salt air. Unlike cheaper hooks that seize or weaken over months of outdoor use, the brass mechanism continues to click, lock, and release smoothly ensuring your walks remain safe and fuss-free, season after season.

All-Weather Durability: The braided rope construction is engineered to repel moisture and resist UV degradation, meaning this leash retains its strength and appearance whether you walk your companion in morning dew, afternoon sun, or unexpected rain. It will not stiffen, swell, or lose its grip quality due to weather exposure.

Secure, Tangle-Resistant Design: The fray-resistant rope surface and smooth rope construction actively minimise the risk of tangling around your dog's legs or your own, making it ideal for active dogs who change pace and direction frequently during walks or training sessions.

Comfortable Handler Grip: The ergonomic loop handle is designed to sit naturally in your hand, reducing the pressure and friction caused by sudden pulls. This means longer walks are more comfortable for you, without the rope cutting into your palm a thoughtful design detail that makes a real difference over time.

Versatile Use Across Activities: Whether it is a casual neighbourhood stroll, a structured obedience training session, a park run, or a hiking trail, the Zeal Pets rope leash is your canine companion's ideal outdoor partner offering the right balance of control and movement freedom.

How to Use:

Attach the brass snap hook to the D-ring of your dog's collar or harness by pressing the bolt-spring mechanism to open it, slipping it onto the ring, and releasing to lock it securely in place. Before each walk, briefly inspect the hook mechanism to confirm the spring action is functioning correctly and the closure is firm. Hold the loop handle comfortably in your dominant hand, and where necessary, loop the slack of the leash around your hand for added control with particularly strong pullers. For large or high-energy breeds new to leash walking, pair this leash with structured training sessions to build calm walking habits over time. Clean the rope periodically by rinsing with clean water and allowing it to air-dry fully before storage, to prevent mildew build-up within the braided fibres.

Storage Advice:

Store the unopened Zeal Pets Pet Rope Leash in a cool, dry place below 25°C away from direct sunlight. Do not store in damp or humid environments as prolonged moisture exposure may weaken rope fibres over time. Once in use, hang the leash on a hook or peg in a ventilated area after each walk rather than coiling it wet into a bag or drawer. Wipe the brass hook dry after wet-weather walks to preserve its spring mechanism. Do not use if rope fibres show visible fraying, splitting, or the brass hook spring action becomes stiff or unreliable.
